Red in Pakistani formal wear is never accidental. When a woman chooses red, she has already decided the occasion deserves it — and the hijab has to hold that same conviction.
The base is pure crinkle silk in a deep, warm crimson. The horizontal crinkle runs through the entire length of the fabric, giving it a textured surface that absorbs light rather than throwing it back — which makes the gold embellishment on the border stand out with more contrast than it would on a flat silk. The fabric drapes with enough weight to stay in place through a long event and enough softness to sit comfortably through it.
The border is a garden of individual floral motifs worked in pearl clusters and gold thread. Each flower is built from a ring of white pearls around a gold bead centre. The stems are worked in raised gold thread, the leaf pairs on either side filled with directional stitch that gives them dimension. A fine row of gold sequins runs along the very bottom hem — not decorative afterthought, but a clean finish line that frames the entire border. The motifs are spaced with enough room between them to let the deep red base breathe. That restraint is what makes it work.
Red handcrafted hijabs with this quality of pearl and gold embroidery are genuinely hard to find when buying designer hijabs online in Pakistan. Most of what exists is either beadwork on a plain base with no real craft behind it, or mass-produced scarves with printed detail. Gulrukh is neither. This is a luxury silk hijab built for the woman who wears red to a wedding and means it — modest fashion at the level the occasion actually demands.
Red says everything. This hijab makes sure it says the right thing.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SABRAH HIJAB
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SABRAH HIJAB
This hijab is handcrafted — the embellishments are hand-applied and deserve careful handling.
Spot clean around the embellished border rather than submerging the full piece. For the silk base, hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent if needed. Do not machine wash. Do not wring or twist. Press gently between two dry towels to remove excess water and hang in shade to dry. Store loosely wrapped in tissue paper to protect the embellishments from snagging.
