About Us
We Built the Hijab We Could Never Find
Sarah has worn a hijab her whole life. And for as long as she can remember, getting dressed for a special occasion meant the same quiet frustration — a carefully chosen outfit, an embroidered dress picked weeks in advance, and then a plain, basic hijab sitting on top of all of it. Not because she didn't care. Because nothing better existed.
Every hijab available in Pakistan — in stores, on every online shop — was the same: flat fabric, no design, nothing that matched the thought that went into the rest of the outfit. The market had somehow decided that a hijab was a utility item, not a fashion one.
She and Bilal disagreed. So in 2024, they built Sabrah.
WHAT WE MAKE
Sabrah makes three things — and only three things, deliberately. Handcrafted designer hijabs with beadwork and embellishments finished by hand. Three-colour ombré silk hijabs where the gradient is dyed into the fabric, not printed onto it. And luxury striped silk hijabs cut from pure silk with a woven stripe pattern that holds its shape over time.
Each piece is made in Pakistan in small batches. Not because we have to — because limited production is the only way to maintain the standard that makes these worth making in the first place.
WHO WE ARE
Sabrah was founded by Sarah and Bilal — a couple based in Pakistan. Sarah wears hijab and brought the lived understanding of what was missing. Bilal comes from a background in digital marketing and handles how Sabrah reaches the women it was built for.
Between the two of them, they cover everything from the stitch on the fabric to the screen you're reading this on.
CLOSING PROMISE
Every piece we make is something we would be proud to give to someone who actually cares about what they wear. That is the only standard we hold ourselves to — and the only one that matters.
